The nominees for the 24th Annual Webby Awards were announced today, with THE PUNK FLOYD COMPANY picking up a nomination in the Video: Performance & Craft category.

The nomination recognizes Stella Velon for Best Individual Performance in The Critic

As a brand new company, we are thrilled and humbled to be nominated for these prestigious awards.

Each year, the Webbys — called the "Internet's highest honor" by the New York Times — feature two awards per category: one chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and one chosen by fans called the People's Voice. And to win the People's Voice, we need you!

Viewers can vote for the Webby People's Voice Award through May 7th from anywhere in the world. The winners will be announced via a virtual celebration on May 19th, dubbed the Webbys From Home.Last year, people cast over 3 million votes from 230+ countries and territories worldwide, and the site was visited by over 5 million people. This year's nominees (selected by the Academy) were drawn from over 13,000 entries worldwide, and have been singled out as one of the five best in the world in its category (among the top 10% of all work entered).

In addition to the recent Webby Awards nomination, The Punk Floyd Company was among the winners of Amazon Studios' All Voices Film Festival with THE CRITIC by filmmaker Stella Velon. The festival recognized five U.S. filmmakers from underrepresented backgrounds and was hosted on Amazon Prime Video.

Congratulations to our team, as well as the cast and crew of THE CRITIC for this incredible achievement!

Thank you to everyone who watched, reviewed, and praised our inaugural production. Your support means everything to us  — now go be a Critic and cast your vote!

We hope this finds you and yours well and in good health in these turbulent times. We wish you all the best, stay safe, and be well!
